Habanero Lager Mustard
A simple, spicy homemade habanero lager mustard.

Ingredients

tablespoons
yellow mustard seeds

tablespoons
brown sugar
1/3
cup
white wine vinegar
(apple cider vinegar will also work)

tablespoons
lager beer
1/2
teaspoon
habanero powder
(you can substitute cayenne)
1/2
teaspoon
kosher salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and leave at room temperature for 2 days.
After 2 days, strain any excess liquid (I recommend using it in a vinaigrette).
Puree the mustard in a food processor if a smooth consistency is desired.
Store in the refrigerator.
