Is it a smoothie? A milkshake? A frozen summer cocktail? I like to think of it as a hybrid of all three.

You may have noticed this week that I really love sweetened condensed milk. Just a few days ago I used it in my malted sweetened condensed milk ice cream. I swear I could eat the stuff straight from the can with a spoon. It’s that good. And so is this strawberries and cream cocktail smoothie. Just think- because it has fresh fruit it’s like you’re getting your nutrients while getting a good alcohol buzz at the same time. See? It’s healthy!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 2 small or 1 1/2 large bananas
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ounces peach schnapps (6 tablespoons)

Instructions

  • Puree all ingredients in a blender.
  • Divide into 2 glasses.
  • Serve immediately.
